How long do you paint at my event?

I will be Live Wedding Painting for 6 hours, beginning before your wedding starts so the painting is on its way by the time your guests arrive, which is a lot more fun to see than a blank canvas. Your painting will then be worked on for several hours in my studio so it's perfect when you receive it.

Does my painting come framed?

All paintings I make can easily be hung straight on the wall when you receive it. Because of the personal style of individual homes, I don't offer framing options myself, however all paintings can easily be framed in your personal taste after you receive it.

What do you need to provide for Katie?

I bring everything with me including my easel, paint, lighting, and small table. I will just need access to an outlet to plug in my light later in the night.

What are your travel costs?

 I can drive up to 1 and a half hours one way with a small expenses fee to cover my costs. Over 1 and a half hours away will require an overnight stay.  I love to travel and I am willing to fly to your wedding, travel expenses will be included into your wedding quote.

What type of paint do you use?

I only use professional high quality archival paint and materials so your painting will last forever and can become a family heirloom.

How do we know what scene to have painted?

We will chat via phone, e-mail or meet in person, to decide on a location and scene that you are most happy with. You will love it and your guests will enjoy checking in regularly to see it come to life.

What if I want a different size canvas than the ones in your packages?

This is not a problem, I can work on many different sizes and I will accommodate you whenever possible.

Can I build a different package to suit my needs?

Yes! I will do my best to meet your needs to make sure you have a wonderful experience.

What if you are already booked on the day of my wedding?

Not a problem, I can and often do work from photographs, so all I need is your favorite snap, and I will paint your picture in my studio.
